Hi, I'm Christine!
I'm a Bolivian/Chilean designer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm passionate about the community, social good, and working with a purpose.
Growing up in the Bay Area, I was fortunate enough to experience many different cultures and ethnic backgrounds, making it a great source of inspiration for my craft. Being in the Bay exposed me to the struggles communities of color face daily. I witnessed mainly families of color being forced out of their neighborhoods due to capitalistic greed. Because of technology, these communities have a voice to fight back and be vocal about their beliefs. It gives outsiders the opportunity to see, understand, and share the struggles experienced by struggling communities. Positive change driven by tech is the main reason why I became a designer.
There's one thing I was always certain about: I love interacting with people, understanding their perspectives, and discovering ways to solve problems efficiently. My goal is to help solve the complex problems of a changing and diverse world through compelling visual design solutions and smart strategies. I believe that working with passionate individuals can help communities grow, and leave an everlasting positive impression.
In my free time, I enjoy attending music festivals, discovering the latest boba spots, or hanging out with my cats, Kylo & Luna. If you would like to know anything else about me, feel free to ask, I'm an open book!
