Wazzmatazz
Wazzmatazz is the ultimate summer music event hosted by WiLD 94.9, a leading Top 40 radio station in the San Francisco Bay Area. As the principal graphic designer for iHeartRadio San Francisco, I was honored to take on the responsibility of developing and designing the brand identity for their annual summer concert.

I began by conducting extensive research into the comic-book theme, analyzing various styles and trends to inform the visual direction. I then collaborated closely with the Digital Program Director and Social Media Manager to define the event's goals and create comprehensive mood boards and mockups.
After selecting the final concept, I designed a full suite of digital assets for social media promotion (including banners and GIFs) and key physical collateral (t-shirts and press passes). Throughout the project, I maintained clear communication to ensure the visual identity was both consistent with the station's aesthetic and successfully captured the vibrant comic-book theme, contributing to the event's success.

The Wazzmatazz project was a complex, fast-paced challenge that significantly honed my skills in effective communication and stakeholder collaboration. I successfully navigated tight deadlines by prioritizing organization and planning, which allowed me to deliver high-quality designs for a comprehensive array of digital assets, t-shirts, and press passes. A key takeaway was the power of presenting multiple mockups to help non-creative team members visualize the final product and provide constructive feedback. Overall, I am extremely proud of the successful brand identity I created and the professional development gained from this high-visibility project.
